Project of the Year 2020: Contest Results
Infosecurity (a Softline Company) traditionally took part in the Project of the Year 2020 Contest by the Global CIO IT Community. This year, the contest was held for the ninth time and became one of the key communication platforms for sharing experiences and expert opinions of CIOs and top managers.
On January 28, 2020, a solemn ceremony of summing up the results of the Project of the Year 2020 Contest by Global CIO took place. The Infosecurity project on Maintenance and Technical Support of the Security Event Management System, Detection and Response to Cyber Security Incidents for PJSC State Transport Leasing Company (GTLK), was highlighted by the IT Community, and won a special nomination The Best Project in Managed Cyber Security Services.
Owing to the independent online voting system, the expert community was able to appreciate all the nuances and complexity of implementing the project: construction of monitoring and incident response service based on the ISOC solution and the existing SIEM system for PJSC GTLK. Infosecurity experts and analysts monitor and respond to incidents in real time, thus ensuring business continuity and improving event analysis in-house mechanisms.
“After assessing the Company’s needs, we found that we need to automate the monitoring and response processes to ensure the expeditious processing of incidents flow. ISOC connection made it possible not only to manage the Company’s existing cyber security systems more effectively, but also to minimize the risks of the Company's economy and cyber security,” – Sergei Rysin, Chief Technical Protection Specialist at HeadHunter, and Head of Cyber Security Department at PJSC GTLK at the time of project implementation, sums up the project.
“The project on Maintenance and Technical Support of the Security Event Management System, Detection and Response to Cyber Security Incidents for PJSC State Transport Leasing Company (GTLK) was absolutely a unique experience both for our Company and PJSC GTLK. Despite the difficulties we encountered in the course of the project, we managed to improve qualitatively the security of critical business processes in a short time, and provide comprehensive data protection with the rapidly growing Customer’s branch network, – Alexey Yudin, Director of Infosecurity Monitoring Center, says. – We are glad that for the second year in a row the expert IT community of the Global CIO highly appreciates our qualifications and honors such a high assessment, and we look forward to continuing our fruitful collaboration with PJSC GTLK.”
Congratulations to the Infosecurity Team on a well-deserved award and wish the Team new achievements and interesting projects!
